Drake’s ‘Iceman Episode 3’ Sparks Fan Backlash and Celebrity Criticism

Drake’s latest Iceman livestream, Episode 3, has sparked a wave of mixed reactions online, with some fans praising the release and others expressing disappointment.

The Canadian rapper debuted three new songs during the stream, incorporating visuals and symbolic imagery, continuing his experimental approach to the hybrid music-and-visual project. However, the unconventional format has divided audiences.

Twitch star Kai Cenat was among the most vocal critics, calling the episode a “waste of time” during a live stream. His unfiltered reaction quickly went viral, with viewers noting his frustration and insistence that he could not “fake it” for content.

Some fans agreed with Cenat’s assessment, describing the episode as disjointed and lacking a clear narrative, while others defended it as a creative experiment that pushes artistic boundaries.

Hip-hop artist Rick Ross also joined the conversation, mocking the project’s title by jokingly calling it Whiteman instead of Iceman. Ross highlighted Cenat’s criticism in an Instagram video, noting that some commentators found the new songs underwhelming.

Despite the critiques, many dedicated Drake fans continue to support the release, suggesting that some of the previewed tracks may not appear on the final album. Iceman does not yet have an official release date, but it is expected before the end of the year.

The reactions to Episode 3 underscore the polarizing nature of Drake’s experimental projects, which blend music, visuals, and storytelling in unconventional ways. While some view these experiments as artistic innovation, others see them as inconsistent or aimless.
