Casio Comfy JT 200T calculator

Casio has unveiled the Comfy JT-200T, a solar-powered calculator with a redesigned solar panel positioned on its top edge for a cleaner aesthetic.

The model, available in five muted colors—off white, dark gray, grayish pink, grayish green, and grayish blue—will launch in Japan on January 30, 2025, for approximately $25.

The solar panel, slightly larger and angled upward, aims to maintain power efficiency under indoor lighting while staying out of sight during use.

The calculator’s design commemorates Casio’s first calculator released in 1965, featuring a font inspired by the Casio Mini from 1972.

Made from recycled plastic and mica to resist scratches, the JT-200T includes a spring-loaded stand for an 8-degree elevation, a 12-digit LCD display, and basic number-crunching functions with dedicated tax buttons.

This eco-friendly and stylish device caters to professionals and casual users alike.
