In an exciting collaboration between K-pop sensation BTS and the popular “Despicable Me” franchise, a new Funko Pop collection has been unveiled featuring the BTS members transformed into adorable Minions. This exclusive Funko Pop! Collectible 7-Pack is set to be available for pre-order starting Friday, June 21, on the Entertainment Earth website.

The collaboration ties into the upcoming “Despicable Me 4” movie, scheduled to hit theaters on July 3, 2024. The film introduces a new character, Poppy Prescott, who is identified as a member of the BTS ARMY fan base. This connection has sparked the creation of this unique collectible set.

In addition to the Funko Pop lineup, fans can look forward to a special capsule collection featuring Minions x BTS mash-up art. This capsule is inspired by BTS’ iconic outfits from their hit single “Permission to Dance” and is available for pre-order through July 1 on the Weverse U.S. shop.

The “Despicable Me 4” movie continues the beloved animated franchise, following the adventures of reformed supervillain Gru (voiced by Steve Carell) and his family. Returning cast members include Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Steve Coogan, Chris Renaud, Dana Gaier, and Pierre Coffin.

This collaboration marks an exciting crossover between two global entertainment phenomena, bringing together the charm of the Minions with the worldwide popularity of BTS. Fans of both the K-pop group and the animated franchise will undoubtedly be eager to get their hands on these unique collectibles.
