Will BTS Comeback Be Pushed to 2026?

Speculation is rising about a potential delay in BTS’s reunion until 2026, despite earlier expectations for a full return in late 2025 after all members complete their military service.

Comments from HYBE’s CFO, Lee Kyung-jun, during a recent earnings call, suggested ongoing discussions about BTS’s activities in 2026, raising concerns among fans.

Currently, Jin and J-Hope have completed their military service, while RM, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are expected to finish by June 2025. HYBE had previously indicated that a full-group comeback could happen in late 2025 after confirming all members renewed their contracts.

In response to fan worries, HYBE clarified that the CFO’s comments do not imply a change in the expected reunion timeline. Industry experts still anticipate a full-group album release in late 2025, citing strong fan support and ongoing individual projects from members.

Despite challenges such as Suga’s recent DUI incident, BTS remains engaged with fans through solo releases. Jin’s first solo album, Happy, is set to launch on November 15.
