BTS, the world-famous K-pop group, is almost ready to reunite. All seven members have either completed their mandatory South Korean military service or are expected to finish by June 2025.

Here’s a detailed update on each member’s enlistment, discharge, and what’s next for BTS.

    Jin (Kim Seok-jin)

Jin was the first BTS member to enlist, beginning his service in December 2022. He was discharged on June 12, 2024, after completing active duty. Since returning, he has released a solo album titled HAPPY and appeared on various variety shows. Jin has quickly reconnected with fans and is active again in the entertainment scene.

    J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok)

J-Hope enlisted in April 2023 and completed his active duty service, getting discharged on October 17, 2024. After returning, he released solo digital singles and collaborated with other artists. He also made a public appearance at the 2024 KBO Korean Series. J-Hope continues to maintain a strong presence as a solo artist.

    Suga (Min Yoon-gi)

Suga began his service on September 22, 2023. Due to a previous shoulder surgery, he is serving as a public service worker instead of in active duty. His discharge is expected on June 21, 2025, making him the last BTS member to complete service. Before enlisting, he released his solo album D-Day under the name Agust D. Fans are eagerly waiting for his return.

    RM (Kim Nam-joon)

RM enlisted on December 11, 2023, the same day as fellow member V. He is currently serving in active duty and is expected to be discharged on June 10, 2025. Recently, RM posted a “D-30” countdown, showing his excitement to return. During service, he expressed deep gratitude to fans and shared hopes for BTS’s future comeback.

    RM (BTS)

    V (Kim Tae-hyung)

V also enlisted on December 11, 2023, along with RM. He is serving active duty and is scheduled for discharge on June 10, 2025. Before leaving, V shared emotional farewell messages and promised to return healthy. Fans look forward to seeing his charm and style back on stage after military life.

    V (Kim Taehyung)

    Jimin (Park Ji-min)

Jimin enlisted on December 12, 2023, just one day after RM and V. He is also in active duty and is expected to finish service on June 11, 2025. Jimin reflected on the seriousness of military service and felt comfort in enlisting alongside Jungkook. The two continue to serve together and support each other.

    Jungkook (Jeon Jung-kook)

Jungkook joined the military with Jimin on December 12, 2023. He is currently serving active duty and is scheduled for discharge on June 11, 2025. Before enlisting, Jungkook gave heartfelt farewells to fans and expressed his love and gratitude. He and Jimin are staying strong together as they near the end of service.

BTS Full Group Reunion and Comeback (OT7)

All seven BTS members will have completed their military duties by late June 2025. Suga will be the last to return, with his discharge scheduled for June 21, 2025. HYBE and BigHit Music have confirmed that BTS will take some time to rest and prepare before making a full comeback.

A complete BTS reunion—known as OT7—is expected in the second half of 2025. The group is likely to release new music and may also plan a world tour. While each member pursued solo activities during the military break, fans worldwide are most excited about seeing BTS together again on one stage.

    In Summary:
BTS is on track to reunite as a full group in June 2025, marking the start of a brand-new era. ARMY can look forward to official updates, new music, and emotional moments as BTS returns stronger than ever.
