Bruno Mars has become the first artist in Spotify’s history to surpass 140 million monthly listeners.

As of December 21, 2024, he crossed this milestone, breaking his own record set on October 30, 2024, when he surpassed The Weeknd’s previous high of 120.7 million.

Mars’ rise is fueled by recent collaborations, including Die With A Smile with Lady Gaga, which has over 1.1 billion streams, and APT. with Blackpink’s Rosé.

His timeless hits like Just the Way You Are and 24K Magic also remain fan favorites, keeping him relevant in the streaming era.

With Spotify hosting 640 million users, Mars’ ability to capture over 21% of listeners highlights his global appeal and influence.

His record-breaking success solidifies his place as one of the most impactful artists of his generation.
