Bhad Bhabie recently opened up about the controversial AI Kanye West diss verse that appeared in her song “Ms. Whitman.” The track, which targeted Alabama Barker, created a stir when a remix featuring an AI-generated Kanye West verse was leaked online. Fans were stunned by the unexpected inclusion of Ye’s voice, but Bhad Bhabie clarified that the verse was never meant to be released in its AI form.
In a recent appearance on DDG’s live stream, Bhad Bhabie explained that the use of the AI Kanye verse was not her decision. According to her, the plan was to have a real verse from West, but her team instead used AI to simulate what Kanye’s contribution would sound like.
“They made an AI version of how it would sound, him on it,” Bhad Bhabie explained. However, someone from her team accidentally went live in the middle of the night and played the AI-generated verse, leading to its widespread circulation.
Kanye West himself addressed the situation on Instagram, making it clear that he was not involved in the feud or the song, urging fans to disregard any verses featuring his voice that were posted without his approval. He also expressed his discontent with being dragged into the drama and clarified that he had no involvement in the viral AI verse.
However, West did confirm that he cleared a sample for Bhad Bhabie’s diss track, “Carnival.” Bhad Bhabie credited Kanye’s wife, Bianca Censori, for quickly approving the sample. She shared that after reaching out to Bianca, Censori responded swiftly, clearing the sample in just 10 minutes, which helped keep the track on track.
Despite the AI verse mishap, Bhad Bhabie continues to make waves in the music industry, and the incident has sparked conversations about the ethical use of AI in music.
