Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 is set to kick off from June 9 to 13, with the highly anticipated keynote taking place on Monday, June 9 at 1PM ET / 10AM PT.

You can watch the event live on Apple’s website, its YouTube channel, and directly through many media outlets including Engadget, which will be providing live coverage and analysis.

This year’s keynote is especially important as Apple is expected to address its struggling AI strategy, including the future of “Apple Intelligence.”

The company may counter the criticism by unveiling a complete OS design overhaul—potentially introducing a more visionOS-inspired interface across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS to improve consistency and ease of use.

What to look out for:

  • iOS, iPadOS, macOS updates with design changes and smarter multitasking
  • New battery management tools and possibly a “virtual health coach”
  • Rumored shift to year-based OS names (e.g., iOS 26 instead of iOS 19)
  • Continued emphasis on AI features, even if not branded under “Apple Intelligence”
  • Possible improvements to iPad multitasking to bring it closer to macOS-level functionality

The tagline this year, “Sleek peek,” has sparked speculation. While Apple has a history of vague teaser phrases, this one could hint at visual or UI changes, possibly related to the system-wide design language or a sleeker, unified OS look.

For developers, Apple will also offer in-depth online sessions after the keynote to break down all the technical updates coming later this year.
