Apple TV+ is getting ready to release a new comedy show called Stick, hoping it becomes as popular as Ted Lasso.

The show will premiere on Wednesday, June 4, with its first three episodes. New episodes will release every week until July 23.

Stick stars Owen Wilson as Pryce Cahill, a former pro golfer whose career ended early. After losing his job and his marriage, Pryce decides to help a 17-year-old golf prodigy named Santi.

Together, they form a special bond, creating a new kind of family. The show promises to mix humor, emotion, and sports in a fresh way.

Apple describes Stick as a “heartfelt, feel-good sports comedy.” It follows the success of other Apple TV+ hits like Ted Lasso, Shrinking, and The Morning Show.

Even though Stick is not from the Ted Lasso creators, it shares a similar style—focusing on relationships, hope, and personal growth.

Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 per month and includes many popular shows and movies. With Stick, Apple hopes to bring another winning story to viewers this summer.
