Apple’s Next iPhone SE Should Learn from the Mac Mini’s Success

Apple’s Mac Mini has received praise for its impressive value in the tech world, thanks to its powerful M4 chip and redesigned case.

But now, there’s a pressing question: When will Apple deliver the same attention to its iPhone SE?

Despite the 2022 iPhone SE being Apple’s most affordable model, it’s lagging behind competitors in several key areas. For $429, you get a phone with a decent build, good camera in the right light, and wireless charging, but it suffers from outdated features like a small LCD display, thick bezels, and just 64GB of storage.

No night mode in 2024 feels like a deal-breaker. Android phones, like the Google Pixel 8A, offer much better value with modern screens, better cameras, and longer OS updates, making the SE look outdated.

Rumors of a fourth-gen iPhone SE in 2025 are promising, with potential upgrades like an OLED screen, slimmer bezels, and better base storage.

If Apple can reduce unnecessary features, like the Action Button and Dynamic Island, and focus on the essentials, the SE could finally become a worthy midrange option.

Apple’s ability to create affordable yet powerful devices, like the Mac Mini, gives hope that the same formula can be applied to the SE.

A well-priced, updated SE could provide a much-needed alternative for budget-conscious buyers who still want the iPhone experience without the premium price tag.
