Apple’s iPhone SE 4, set for release in March 2025, will offer a major overhaul compared to its predecessors.

This device is expected to feature a 6.1-inch display with slimmer bezels, marking a significant design update.

The SE 4 will also move away from the traditional Touch ID in favor of Face ID, aligning with Apple’s recent flagship models.

Internally, the iPhone SE 4 will be powered by the A18 processor, the same chip that drives the iPhone 16 series, paired with 8GB of RAM.

This upgrade ensures better performance, particularly in AI-driven tasks, making the SE 4 the most affordable iPhone to include such features.

A key feature of the SE 4 will be Apple’s custom 5G modem, which will reduce the company’s dependence on Qualcomm, its long-time partner for 5G technology.

The custom modem is expected to improve network efficiency and battery life. Apple has long been working on this modem, and the SE 4 is the first device in Apple’s lineup to showcase it.

This move is part of Apple’s broader strategy to eventually phase out Qualcomm and incorporate its technologies across the iPhone range.

Rumors suggest that the iPhone SE 4 will be priced similarly to previous models, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious users who want flagship features at a lower price.

The SE 4 is also expected to support more advanced AI capabilities, thanks to the A18 chip and increased RAM, putting it on par with more expensive models.
