André 3000 has revealed plans to release new music in 2025, sharing insights about his upcoming creative endeavors during recent interviews at Camp Flog Gnaw and with music journalist Touré.
The OutKast member indicated he is currently working on a new project, stating he is “almost a third — or halfway” through the work.
While details remain sparse, he expressed excitement about exploring “new ways to distribute and express” his art.
Following his GRAMMY-nominated instrumental album New Blue Sun, André 3000 confirmed that his upcoming release will not be a rap album.
He noted an interesting industry detail that his first solo release does not count towards his Epic Records solo deal due to its non-rap nature.
“I’m just trying to keep the creative momentum,” André 3000 explained. He also shared appreciation for the recognition, saying he’s grateful when more people get to listen to and pay attention to his work.
