Amazon Prime Video has renewed the adult animated anthology series “Secret Level” for a second season.
The show, which features short stories set in the world of various video games like Pac-Man and Dungeons & Dragons, debuted its first season on December 10 with eight episodes.
Another seven episodes are set to release on December 12. While details about the second season remain under wraps, it will continue to explore more video game universes.
Amazon has revealed that Secret Level achieved the highest viewership for an animated series debut on the platform, though specific numbers have not been disclosed.
According to Luminate, the series garnered 155.3 million minutes of watch time in the U.S. during its first week, which equates to roughly 1.4 million views.
The first season features a star-studded cast, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Temuera Morrison, Ariana Greenblatt, and many others.
The show explores a variety of games, including Sifu, New World, Unreal Tournament, Warhammer 40,000, and Mega Man, among others.
Created by Tim Miller, known for Deadpool and Love, Death & Robots, Secret Level is produced by Blur Studio and Amazon MGM Studios.
