Bangladeshi techno producers Alavei Forhad and Famin have released a new EP titled Berlin Blackout on Italian label LETS TECHNO Records. The project gained quick recognition, debuting at #36 on Beatport’s Techno (Raw) chart and #83 on the Melodic Techno chart just one day after release.

Alavei, one of Bangladesh’s pioneering techno artists, has been active since 2017. He previously produced music under the name ABF and built a reputation for blending techno, house, and trap influences. His earlier works include Time and Space with Famin, and Revolution & Astro with SAZID. Berlin Blackout is his first official EP with LETS TECHNO Records.

Famin has seen rapid growth in 2025 with several high-profile collaborations. His track Soul Is Magic with French artist Katze and Escape Velocity with Rafael and Papitos both climbed Beatport charts. He also released the Deeper EP with German producer Windeskind, which earned strong support in the global techno community.

The duo began working together in 2022, and their 2023 single Sapiro first attracted international attention. Their new EP builds on that momentum, with Famin taking the lead in production and Alavei adding his distinctive sound design. LETS TECHNO Records described the release as an “impressive debut” from two promising South Asian artists.

The early chart success of Berlin Blackout highlights the growing presence of South Asian talent in global electronic music. With this release, Alavei and Famin are positioned to expand their influence and introduce Bangladeshi techno to wider international audiences.
