Portland-based Campfire Audio has unveiled its latest creation, the Moon Rover in-ear monitors (IEMs). These stunning new wired earbuds promise to elevate your listening experience to new heights.
The Moon Rover IEMs feature a unique titanium shell with an eye-catching iridescent finish in purple, yellow, and blue hues. This finish creates a mesmerizing visual effect, appearing different from every angle and contrasting beautifully with gold-plated screws.
But it’s not just about looks. The Moon Rover boasts impressive audio technology, including 12mm “magnetic planar dynamic” drivers. Campfire Audio claims these drivers offer “previously unseen” levels of impulse response and “completely unique” signal reproduction quality, potentially surpassing even larger dynamic drivers in accuracy.
Key specifications include:
- Frequency response: 5Hz to 20kHz
- Sound pressure: 94dB at 1kHz
- Impedance: 22.5 ohms
- Total harmonic distortion: Less than 1% at 1kHz
True to Campfire Audio’s reputation for luxury, the Moon Rover comes with a handmade waxed leather case. However, this premium experience comes at a price: $1,199 / ยฃ1,199 (approximately AU$2,279).
Audiophiles interested in the Moon Rover should act quickly. Only 888 sets of these handmade IEMs will be produced, making them a true limited edition.
The Campfire Audio Moon Rover IEMs are available now, offering a chance to own what the company describes as “the best of the best” in personal audio technology.
