G-Dragon is taking his artistry worldwide with a new media exhibition tour titled G-DRAGON MEDIA EXHIBITION: Übermensch.
The exhibition is produced by CreativeMUT and Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon’s agency. It will open in Shanghai, China, making it the first-ever K-pop media exhibition to be held there. The event runs from May 30 to June 22 at Qiantan Taikoo Li, a large shopping and lifestyle complex in Shanghai’s business district.
The exhibition features AI, holograms, virtual reality (VR), and computer graphics made with Unreal Engine. Visitors can enjoy a hologram concert and even a virtual meet-and-greet with G-Dragon. A massive 7-meter-tall daisy, one of G-Dragon’s signature symbols, will also be on display.
This exhibition is based on the concept of “Übermensch” from G-Dragon’s upcoming third album. It first opened in March in Seoul, drawing over 55,000 visitors in just 10 days. Now, fans in China and around the world can experience the upgraded version of the event.
Tickets for the Shanghai exhibition go on sale May 25 at 2 PM KST through Alipay, Douyin, and other official sites.
More cities and tour dates will be announced soon through the exhibition’s social media accounts.
