Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S25 Edge, its slimmest smartphone yet. The device is just 5.8mm thick and weighs only 163 grams. Despite the ultra-thin body, it packs a 3,900 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging and wireless charging.
The Galaxy S25 Edge features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution and a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, offering better durability.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset with 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. It comes with Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box.
For photography, the S25 Edge includes a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization and 2x optical-quality zoom, a 12MP ultra-wide lens with macro support, and a 12MP selfie camera.
The device has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and a strong titanium frame. Color options include Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue.
Pre-orders are open now and will end on May 29. Buyers who pre-order will get the 512GB model at the price of the 256GB version. In the USA, the prices are $1,099 for 256GB and $1,299 for 512GB. In Europe, the prices are €1,249 and €1,369, respectively.
Samsung is also offering a $50 credit for customers who pre-reserved the phone before confirming their order.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is Samsung’s answer to upcoming competition and aims to set a new standard in slim and powerful smartphones.
