Creating Communities on WhatsApp Just Got Easier

WhatsApp

WhatsApp is simplifying the process of creating communities with a new feature spotted in the latest Android beta release.

Now, users can create a new community directly from the chats tab by tapping the hamburger (three dots) button and selecting “New community.”

This change reduces the steps involved, removing the need to go through the Communities tab first.

This move is part of WhatsApp’s ongoing feature updates, aiming to improve user experience.

The timing of this update suggests that the Communities tab might eventually be replaced with a new tab focused on AI chatbots.

If this happens, this adjustment would be more than just a minor tweak to the app’s interface.
