Meta is actively targeting TikTok creators with a range of incentives to join its platforms, including cash bonuses of up to $5,000 over three months for posting Reels on Facebook and Instagram.

Additionally, selected creators will be granted access to the Facebook Content Monetization Program, allowing them to earn money from their posts across both platforms.

Meta is also offering content deals to certain TikTok creators to help grow their audiences and extend their reach on Instagram and Facebook.

For added appeal, some creators will receive a one-year trial of Meta Verified, which includes a verified badge, account support, and protection from impersonation.

This move comes at a time when TikTok is facing uncertainty in the U.S., with the app having been temporarily offline and removed from app stores.

Meta is seizing the opportunity to attract TikTok creators, making Reels more appealing by allowing Instagram creators in the U.S. to post videos up to three minutes long (up from the previous 90-second limit).

Meta also plans to increase the visibility of Reels, recommending them more frequently across Instagram and Facebook feeds and search results.

By offering these incentives and enhancing Reels, Meta hopes to capitalize on TikTok’s current challenges and strengthen its position in the short-form video space.
