A new concept video has given us a glimpse of what the highly anticipated iPhone 17 Slim (or iPhone 17 Air) might look like.
While there are still many unanswered questions about this model, including its official name, the concept provides a detailed view of its sleek design and rumored features.
One of the standout features of this concept is the ultra-thin design, with the phone measuring just 5mm thick.
The iPhone 17 Slim is expected to be equipped with the powerful A19 Pro chipset, the same one found in the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models.
This chipset, built by TSMC using the third-gen 3nm process node, promises to deliver impressive performance despite the slim profile.
In terms of memory, the iPhone 17 Slim is rumored to come with 8GB of RAM, which is still more than enough to support Apple’s advanced features, including Apple Intelligence. The phone is also expected to include cutting-edge Wi-Fi 8, providing faster and more reliable connectivity.
The concept video showcases the iPhone 17 Slim with a 6.65-inch OLED ProMotion display. This display features a variable refresh rate, saving battery life by refreshing at 1Hz for static content, such as emails or texts, and up to 120Hz for gaming and scrolling.
Another notable design change is the horizontally placed rear camera bar, which gives the phone a sleek and modern look.
The front of the phone features a smaller Dynamic Island cutout, which could offer a more compact and refined design compared to previous models.
The iPhone 17 Slim is expected to be unveiled alongside the other iPhone 17 models in September 2025, with a release likely to follow shortly after.
