Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Slim could be one of the thinnest smartphones yet.

According to a leak from Ice Universe, the device will reportedly measure just under 7mm in thickness, potentially around 6.x mm. This makes it a direct competitor to Apple’s rumored iPhone 17 Air, expected to be between 5mm and 6mm thick.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is likely to debut at Samsung’s next Unpacked event in late January, alongside the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. However, recent rumors suggest its release might happen later in the year.

While Apple’s iPhone 17 Air may have a slimmer profile, it’s rumored to achieve this by sacrificing features, such as having only one rear camera.

Samsung’s approach with the Galaxy S25 Slim remains unclear, but it’s shaping up to be a significant addition to the Galaxy S25 lineup.

As the competition between Samsung and Apple heats up, the Galaxy S25 Slim could offer a compelling balance of design and functionality.

Stay tuned for more details as the January event approaches.
