Samsung Rolls Out December 2024 Update for Galaxy Devices

Samsung has started rolling out the December 2024 security update for its Galaxy devices.

The update focuses on improving system security and stability, with no new features added. It is being distributed gradually across different batches of devices.

The update first reached the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, Samsung’s 6th-generation foldables, and has since been rolled out to several other Galaxy devices.

What’s Included in the December Update?

This security update addresses several vulnerabilities, including 6 critical and 28 high-level CVE items. It also includes fixes for issues with Galaxy apps and services.

Samsung has patched key vulnerabilities that could protect devices from potential external attacks.

The update also brings improvements to several Samsung features, including:

  • Settings
  • DeX Mode
  • ThemeCenter
  • Smart Touch Call
  • Gaming Hub
  • SmartSwitch
  • Quick Share Agent
