One UI 7 Beta 2 for Galaxy S24: Bug Fixes, Tweaks, and New Options

Samsung has released the second One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series, following a delay in the beta program.

This update brings a range of bug fixes and improvements, enhancing the user experience on the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra.

Some key fixes include resolving issues with the Now Bar, the app drawer, and DeX. The update also removes the “Secured by Knox” watermark from the app drawer. Additionally, a new option is added in Game Booster to adjust the display’s refresh rate.

Here’s the full list of changes:

  • Fixed continuous display issues after closing the Now Bar
  • Resolved display error in the personal app drawer
  • Fixed wireless connection issues with some TVs through DeX
  • Addressed transparency issue with the reminder widget (requires app update)
  • Improved app transition speed and app entry speed for smart select in the edge panel
  • Fixed intermittent reset issue when using power saving mode
  • Enhanced GPS functionality
  • Fixed Quick Panel operation error
  • Added screen refresh rate setting in Game Booster
  • Fixed call termination and Samsung Messages app crash issues
  • Resolved background color issue for the weather widget
  • Fixed WiFi/NFC connection errors when setting routines
  • Other improvements

The update is currently rolling out to Galaxy S24 models in regions where the beta program is active, with more regions and devices expected to join soon.
