Paul Mescal is reportedly set to star in Sony Pictures’ Beatles biopics, which will be directed by Sam Mendes.

The four films will focus on each member of the iconic band: Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.

While the casting hasn’t been confirmed by Sony, Mescal is rumored to play McCartney.

Ridley Scott, during a conversation with Christopher Nolan, mentioned that Mescal’s schedule might affect their plans to reunite for Scott’s upcoming thriller The Dog Stars.

Scott revealed that Mescal is committed to the Beatles project, which could delay their collaboration.

Mescal, known for his roles in Normal People and Aftersun, recently expressed his excitement at the possibility of playing McCartney but refrained from confirming the role.

Meanwhile, Ringo Starr has confirmed that Barry Keoghan will portray him in the films.
