DxOMark has tested the iPhone 16’s camera, giving it an overall score of 147. This puts it ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (144) but behind the Google Pixel 9 (154).
Highlights include good skin tones, accurate colors, and high detail in well-lit environments.
However, the iPhone 16 lacks a telephoto lens, making it less suitable for zoom shots. Issues like flare artifacts, limited dynamic range, and noise in low-light photos were also noted.
Despite trailing behind its Pro siblings, the iPhone 16 delivers a solid camera performance for its price segment.
