Redmi’s newest phone has set a new performance record. The K80 Pro scored 3,194,766 points on AnTuTu, a popular speed testing app. This score beats the previous record held by the ASUS ROG Phone 9.
Xiaomi will launch the K80 series in China on November 27. The phones may reach other countries in December or early 2025 under the Poco brand name. The K80 Pro might be called the Poco F7 Ultra globally.
The phone’s high score comes from two main features. First, it uses Qualcomm’s newest chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Second, it has a new cooling system that likely uses a vapor chamber to keep the phone from getting too hot.
Redmi has also added a special D1 chip to the K80 Pro. This chip helps control the screen and improve gaming. It promises better game performance while using less battery power.
The K80 Pro looks set to be a top choice for users who want the fastest phone performance. It will likely rank first in AnTuTu’s list of fastest phones when it launches next month.
