Drake made an unexpected appearance at PartyNextDoor’s Toronto concert on Friday night, delivering a rare full set of R&B tracks and announcing a collaborative album with the OVO labelmate.

At the Budweiser Stage, Drake performed for nearly an hour as an unannounced guest during PartyNextDoor’s “Sorry I’m Outside Tour.” The setlist included deep cuts, fan favorites, and the live debut of “Wah Gwan Deliluh,” Drake’s controversial remix of “Hey There Delilah.”

The Canadian superstar expressed gratitude to his hometown crowd, stating, “I’m here tonight as a thank you to each and every one of you for all your years of unwavering support.”

The highlight of the evening came when Drake revealed, “On behalf of me and Party, we’ve been working on something for y’all.” He announced that a collaborative album with PartyNextDoor would be released later this year.

This surprise appearance and album announcement potentially signal a shift towards R&B in Drake’s upcoming work, exciting fans who eagerly await more details on this new project.
