January 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for K-pop fans, with multiple comebacks and solo releases from popular groups and artists. From reunions to solo debuts, here’s a look at the upcoming releases:

GOT7 Returns with WINTER HEPTAGON

Boy group GOT7 will make their long-awaited return on January 20 with the mini-album WINTER HEPTAGON. This marks their first full-group release in three years since their last EP, GOT7.

The album comes in celebration of the group’s 11th debut anniversary and is produced in collaboration with Kakao Entertainment.

The members, who have signed with different agencies after leaving JYP Entertainment in 2021, are excited to offer fans a new musical experience that showcases their unique charm.

GFriend’s Reunion with Season of Memories

Disbanded girl group GFriend will reunite to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary with the special album Season of Memories, releasing on January 13.

The album includes the title track “Season of Memories” and a song called “Always,” which members Yuju and Umji helped produce.

GFriend will also hold a concert tour, starting with a Seoul performance from January 17 to 19, followed by stops in Osaka and Taipei in March.

BOYNEXTDOOR Drops New Single

Boy group BOYNEXTDOOR will release their new digital single If I Say, I Love You on January 8. The upbeat dance-pop track takes a humorous approach to overcoming a breakup, featuring witty lyrics written by the members themselves.

This follows their successful third mini-album 19.99, which earned them a million sales record.

Onew of SHINee Releases CONNECTION

SHINee’s Onew will drop his mini-album CONNECTION on January 8, just four months after his previous release FLOW.

The album features six tracks, including the title song “Winner.” Onew’s personal touch is evident as he participated in writing the lyrics for all the songs, offering a glimpse into his authentic musical world.

Minnie from (G)I-DLE Prepares for Solo Debut

Minnie of (G)I-DLE is set to release her first solo album in mid-January. As the fourth member of the group to go solo, following Miyeon, Soyeon, and Yuqi, Minnie’s solo debut is highly anticipated by fans.
