YouTube Music

In its first update of 2025, YouTube Music has introduced a Top songs carousel on artist pages. This new feature offers a more interactive and user-friendly way to explore an artist’s top tracks.

New Design for Artist Pages

Previously, YouTube Music displayed a list of the top five songs at the top of the artist’s page.

Users could tap “More” to view additional tracks or browse via the Up Next queue. With the new update, the Top songs carousel now appears, offering a more streamlined browsing experience.

Features of the New Carousel

The carousel works similarly to other sections on the platform, such as Quick picks, Trending, and Long listens. It displays four songs per load, with up to 20 songs across five pages.

There’s also a “Play all” button for users who want to listen to the entire set of top songs, and a chevron icon to access the full list.

Availability and User Experience

The Top songs carousel is now widely available on YouTube Music for Android and iOS.

The update makes it easier for users to browse and quickly find their favorite tracks from an artist, enhancing the overall music discovery experience.
