Xiaomi has resolved a screen issue affecting the Redmi Note 12S running HyperOS.
Users reported a “line on the screen” after updating to HyperOS version OS2.0.1.0.VHZMIXM.
The problem was noticeable during activities like web browsing, gaming, and watching videos.
In its Weekly Bug Report, Xiaomi confirmed the issue was traced to the device’s screen output. The company acted swiftly and has now released a fix in a recent firmware update.
Users are encouraged to install the update to resolve the problem.
To update your Redmi Note 12S and get the fix:
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Go to About Phone > System Update.
- Tap Check for Updates and install any available firmware.
- Restart the device to apply the update.
