In a recent interview on Andy Cohen’s Sirius XM podcast, Patti LuPone revealed why WandaVision never received a second season, despite Marvel’s interest.

LuPone, who played Lilia Calderu in the series, shared that showrunner Jac Schaeffer rejected the idea of a sequel, explaining, “I don’t do second seasons.”

She praised Schaeffer’s creative vision and expressed hope for future collaboration.

No Sequel for WandaVision or Agatha All Along

Schaeffer’s decision extends to Agatha All Along, despite the show’s ending leaving room for more.

LuPone’s character, Lilia, was written to die, and Schaeffer’s preference for “one-offs” instead of second seasons means fans won’t see a follow-up.

WandaVision‘s Impact

While WandaVision remains a standout in the MCU, Schaeffer’s refusal highlights her dedication to creating unique, standalone stories within the Marvel universe.
