Threads Introduces Curated Collections of Accounts to Follow

Threads

Meta’s Threads is testing a new feature that lets users follow curated groups of accounts based on topics like basketball, fashion, food, books, and pop culture.

This new feature, inspired by Bluesky’s starter packs, aims to make it easier for users to find relevant content when signing up for the platform or browsing the For You feed.

The collections are currently curated by community leaders and will evolve based on user feedback.

This move comes as Threads ramps up its feature updates, likely in response to the growing popularity of Bluesky.

Meta reported 35 million Threads signups in November, while Bluesky is approaching 25 million users.
