SZA has teased fans with a new video for the upcoming SOS Deluxe album, which could include her long-awaited Lana project.
The deluxe version is set to release on Monday, December 9, exactly two years after her hit album SOS.
The teaser, posted on social media, features an unnamed song sampling The Isley Brothers’ “Voyage to Atlantis”.
In the clip, SZA is seen in the woods before the words “Lana” and “SOS Deluxe” appear on-screen. The video is captioned, “Clock starts now. Happy anniversary.”
Fans are speculating about the meaning of the teaser. Some noticed the number five on her shirt and hints in the dirt, suggesting a possible release date of December 13. However, there is no official confirmation.
SZA’s Lana was first announced as part of the deluxe edition of SOS. Later, she described it as a separate project.
In an interview with British Vogue, SZA called Lana a “welcome shift” in her music, saying, “I think I am making music from a more beautiful place… the lighter I get, the more my music shifts.”
Recently, SZA also mentioned on Kai Cenat’s livestream that a new project will drop before the end of the year.
In addition to her music, SZA and Kendrick Lamar have announced the Grand National Tour, starting on April 19, 2025, in Minnesota.
The tour will cover 21 cities, including Houston, New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto, before ending in Washington, D.C., on June 18, 2025.
