‘Solo Leveling: Karma’ Expands Universe with New Trailer Reveal

Fans of Solo Leveling have a new reason to celebrate. A fresh video game titled Solo Leveling: Karma has officially been announced by Netmarble, offering an original story not seen in the hit manhwa or anime. The game’s first trailer was revealed via the franchise’s social media channels, including YouTube and X (formerly Twitter).

According to the developers, Solo Leveling: Karma will feature “a tale never revealed in the original work,” expanding the universe of Sung Jinwoo with new narrative elements exclusive to the game.

The announcement comes at a high point for the Solo Leveling franchise. Earlier this year, the anime adaptation earned Anime of the Year at the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, despite facing stiff competition from titles like Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Solo Leveling also became the most-viewed anime of all time on Crunchyroll as of March 2025.

While the series has enjoyed immense international success, including accolades for its English voice actor Aleks Le, its reception in Japan has been relatively modest. Still, the franchise continues to grow with new projects, including the upcoming console game Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive, set for PC release this year and Xbox in 2026.

A release date and supported platforms for Solo Leveling: Karma have not yet been confirmed. However, the game is expected to offer fans another chance to dive into the world of Sung Jinwoo as they await further updates on the anime’s highly anticipated third season.
