Cassie was rushed to a hospital in New York City on Tuesday as she prepared to give birth to her third child with husband Alex Fine, according to a report from TMZ. She is currently in the labor and delivery unit.
The news comes shortly after Cassie testified in Diddy’s ongoing criminal trial earlier this month. She was visibly pregnant during her time on the stand, with reports confirming she was around eight months along at that time.
Cassie and Fine went public with their relationship in late 2018, shortly after her split from Diddy. They married in October 2019, and welcomed daughters Frankie in 2019 and Sunny in 2021.
While testifying, Cassie detailed years of alleged abuse from Diddy and spoke about “freak-off” encounters and his reaction to her dating Kid Cudi. After her testimony, her attorney, Doug Wigdor, read a statement from her outside the courtroom.
“I hope that my testimony has given strength and a voice to other survivors,” she said. “For me, the more I heal, the more I can remember. And the more I can remember, the more I will never forget.”
Cassie is now focusing on her pregnancy while Diddy’s trial continues this week with more witness testimony.
