For the first time, the Canadian superstar appears on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums chart, debuting at No. 2. Mendes’ semi-self-titled release introduces him to a genre-specific ranking he hadn’t explored before, further showcasing his versatility as an artist.

Mendes was narrowly edged out of the top spot by Noah Kahan, whose album Stick Season has dominated the Americana/Folk chart for an incredible 32 weeks.
