Santa Claus has officially joined the Justice League Unlimited, marking a surprising and festive addition to the iconic superhero team.
The reveal comes in the final issue of Batman / Santa Claus: Silent Knight Returns #5, released as part of DC’s ALL IN initiative.
In the issue, Santa Claus helps Batman, Superman, and other heroes defeat the Silent Knight.
After their victory, the heroes celebrate at Santa’s workshop, where Superman and Batman formally invite Santa to join the Justice League.
Santa’s Unique Role in the Justice League
Batman explains that the League wants to prepare for any threat, and Santa’s unique abilities make him a valuable asset.
Santa accepts the invitation, with Mrs. Claus proudly wrapping him in his signature red cloak. Superman, amused by Santa’s resemblance to his own red cape, jokes about sharing the look.
This development could mean Santa will appear in more DC stories, possibly beyond seasonal narratives.
His membership in the Justice League opens opportunities for cameos in ongoing series like Justice League Unlimited.
Batman / Santa Claus: Silent Knight Returns #5 is available now from DC Comics.
