Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S23 series will not be included in the One UI 7 Beta program, marking a clear distinction between the 2023 and 2024 models.
According to a report shared by leaker FamilyTaes on X, Samsung experts clarified that the S23 series will not receive the beta version of One UI 7. Instead, the stable version of the update will be available for the Galaxy S23 models in early February 2025.
The beta program for One UI 7 will be limited to the upcoming Galaxy S24 series, with Samsung focusing on releasing stable updates for previous models.
This strategy is seen as a way for Samsung to catch up with other Android manufacturers, who have already started rolling out Android 15 to their devices.
By pushing out the stable update for the Galaxy S23 lineup quickly, Samsung aims to stay on schedule without further delays.
The One UI 7 update is expected to bring exciting new features, and Galaxy users are eager to experience the improvements.
Meanwhile, the countdown for the Galaxy S25 series launch has already begun, scheduled for January 22, 2025. It remains to be seen whether the new series will come pre-installed with One UI 7.0 or 7.1.
