Riot Games Plans New League of Legends Shows After Arcane

Following Arcane’s conclusion, Riot Games and Fortiche Productions are planning more animated shows in the League of Legends universe.

While no new shows are in production yet, several projects are being explored.

Arcane’s showrunner Christian Linke says they want to tell stories about more champions from League’s roster of over 160 characters.

Unlike Arcane’s dark tone, future shows will explore different styles, including whimsical stories featuring characters like Lulu, Teemo, and Tristana. The creators also want to venture into new genres, including horror.

Though fans are eager for new content, they may need patience. While future projects likely won’t take as long as Arcane’s decade-long development, it could still be several years before new shows appear on Netflix.
