OnePlus is reportedly working on a smaller flagship smartphone aimed at the growing demand for compact premium devices.

The phone, expected to feature a 6.3-inch display with 1.5K resolution, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

It will also sport a 50MP main camera equipped with Sony’s IMX906 sensor, marking it as a high-end offering in a more compact form factor.

The camera setup will not include a periscope zoom lens, and the camera island design will be horizontal, resembling the style seen in Google Pixel devices.

The device will feature an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, though OnePlus is still considering switching to ultrasonic sensors.

While the launch isn’t imminent, rumors suggest this device may be part of the Ace 5 series, likely as either an Ace 5 mini or Ace 5 Pro mini.

Stay tuned for more details as OnePlus continues to refine its plans.
