Nvidia Releases New Driver Ahead of Valorant’s Unreal Engine 5 Upgrade

Nvidia has released a new GeForce Game Ready Driver (version 577.00) to support the upcoming Unreal Engine 5 upgrade for Valorant, Riot Games’ popular 5v5 tactical shooter.

The driver is now available for download and aims to ensure smooth performance and compatibility ahead of the game’s major update on July 29.

The update is designed to provide day-one optimization for Valorant‘s new engine, which promises enhanced graphics, improved technical performance, and new content.

Nvidia’s driver includes continued support for features like Reflex, which reduces input lag, and DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), which helps maintain high framerates without compromising image quality.

In addition to Valorant, the 577.00 driver also includes performance updates for other titles such as WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers and fixes issues in games like Counter-Strike 2 and NARAKA BLADEPOINT.

The driver supports a wide range of GPUs, including GeForce RTX 50, 40, 30, and 20 series, as well as older GTX and TITAN models. It can be downloaded via Nvidia’s official website, the GeForce Experience app, or the Nvidia app.

Riot Games has spent significant time preparing Valorant’s engine upgrade to Unreal Engine 5. The goal is to deliver more detailed visuals without sacrificing performance, ensuring a stable experience across different PC setups.

Gamers are advised to keep their drivers up to date to avoid compatibility issues and to benefit from the latest performance enhancements.
