Nintendo has confirmed the arrival of a Nintendo Switch successor, the Nintendo Switch 2, expected to launch before the end of March 2025.
A new leak from CentroLeaks, citing a reliable source, suggests that the official reveal of the console could happen as early as January 2025, with a release set for March.
Though leaks should be taken with caution, this timeline aligns with previous patterns, as the original Switch was announced in October 2016 and released in March 2017.
The Switch 2 will be backward compatible with Switch games, feature an OLED display, and may include two processors—one for the handheld and another for the docking station.
Additionally, a redesign of the Joy-Con controllers with magnetic attachment and larger size is expected.
Stay tuned for more updates when Nintendo officially confirms the details, likely in January 2025.
