Smartphone makers are gearing up for a busy second half of 2025. From premium flagships to affordable models, many exciting new devices are set to hit the market between May and December.


Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge – Launching May 13

Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13, 2025. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the new Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.

Camera specs include a 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP front camera. The device has a 3,900mAh battery, supports 25W fast charging, and includes Galaxy AI features. It has an ultra-thin 5.85mm design and is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. The phone starts at €1,249 (about $1,350).


Asus ROG Phone 9 FE – Launched in February

Although already launched in February, the ROG Phone 9 FE is still drawing attention in mid-2025. It comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and a 165Hz refresh rate for smooth gaming. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Camera specs include a 50MP main camera, plus 13MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and a 32MP front shooter. The battery is 5,500mAh and supports 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. Price starts at around $1,000.


Nothing Phone (3) – Coming in Q3 2025

Nothing Phone (3) is expected between July and September 2025. Known for its transparent design and LED glyphs, the Phone (3) will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and an improved camera setup. It may cost between $600–$800.


Xiaomi 15 Ultra – Launched Globally in March

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra was launched in March and remains a strong pick in 2025. It features the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a Leica camera system, and a massive 6,000mAh battery. Expected pricing is between $900 and $1,100.


Mid-Range and Budget Phones to Watch

Several brands are set to launch mid-range and budget models with solid specs. Phones like the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, realme GT 7, Honor X9c, Vivo V40 Lite, Motorola Moto E15, Vivo T4 5G, and Honor X70i will offer good performance with Snapdragon chips, AMOLED displays, high-megapixel cameras, and fast charging. Prices will vary based on features.
