New Google Fi Plans Offer More Data, Lower Prices, and New Features

Google Fi has introduced a new, affordable Unlimited Essentials plan, which costs $35 per month for one line. This plan offers unlimited calls, texts, and data, with 30GB of high-speed data.

Along with the new plan, Google Fi is making changes to its existing plans. The Simply Unlimited plan is now called Unlimited Standard and costs $50 per month.

It now offers 50GB of high-speed data (up from 35GB), so users can enjoy more data before slowing down. The plan also increases high-speed hotspot tethering to 25GB (up from 5GB).

The Unlimited Premium plan (formerly Unlimited Plus) keeps the same price of $65 per month, but it now offers 100GB of high-speed data instead of 50GB. However, the plan no longer includes unlimited high-speed hotspot tethering and now has a 50GB limit.

Another update allows Google Fi users to connect a tablet or laptop to their plan using a data-only eSIM, instead of a physical SIM card. This new feature lets users connect devices like iPads directly to their Fi plan for no extra cost.

In addition to these updates, Google Fi now supports international 5G for both iPhones and Android phones. This new 5G service will be available in over 92 countries for users on Unlimited Premium and Flexible plans.

Google is also adding the option to listen to voicemails from the Phone app rather than the Fi app in the coming weeks.
