At CES 2025, LG and Samsung revealed that their upcoming smart TVs will feature Microsoft’s Copilot AI assistant.

Both companies are incorporating AI into their TV offerings, with LG introducing an entire AI section and rebranding its remote to “AI Remote.”

LG’s TVs will include a shortcut to the Copilot web app, which is designed to help users organize and find complex information through contextual cues.

However, details on how exactly Copilot will function on LG’s TVs remain unclear, as the company has not yet demonstrated the feature.

Samsung is also integrating Copilot into its Vision AI section, which includes AI-powered features like AI upscaling and Auto HDR Remastering.

The company is promoting Copilot as part of a partnership with Microsoft, offering personalized content recommendations through the assistant.

Both LG and Samsung are still working on finalizing the details, and neither company has provided further information or demonstrations of Copilot in action.

The feature seems to be a work in progress, with both companies and Microsoft yet to showcase its full capabilities.
