Lil Baby has revealed exciting plans for a collaborative project with fellow Atlanta rap icons Young Thug and Future.
In an interview with Complex, the rapper shared that he and Young Thug have been working extensively in the studio since Thug’s release, resulting in a significant number of tracks.
Initially, Lil Baby had planned a joint tape with Future, but Thug’s return has shifted the direction toward a potential three-way collaboration.
“There probably won’t be a me and Future tape anymore because Thug is back. So, whatever it would be, it’ll be all three of us,” Baby explained.
The prospect of teaming up with two of his inspirations excites Lil Baby, who credits both Thug and Future for helping him refine his craft. “To be able to spar with them, I feel like that’s sharpened me up a whole lot,” he said.
This news follows the success of Lil Baby’s latest album, WHAM, which recently secured his fourth No. 1 spot on the charts, even blocking Bad Bunny from the top position.
Fans can also look forward to his upcoming solo project, Dominique, set to drop in February.
With three powerhouse artists potentially joining forces, this collaboration could be one of the most anticipated releases in the rap world.
