Leica has introduced a new camera and lens that pay homage to the brand’s rich photographic history.
The Leica M11 glossy black camera and Noctilux-M 50 f/1.2 ASPH. glossy black lens combine classic design with modern technology.
The M11 camera features a brass top plate with a glossy black finish that will develop a unique patina over time.
It draws inspiration from Leica’s iconic M3 camera from 1954. The design is minimalist, with an engraved “Leica” logo and silver-chromed shutter button.
The matching Noctilux-M lens is designed for low-light photography and creating beautiful background blur. Its glossy black finish complements the camera, with matching lens hood and caps.
Leica has also released accessories including a leather carrying strap, camera protector, and M-System case in a taupe color.
The pricing reflects the premium nature of these items. The Leica M11 camera costs EUR 8,950, while the Noctilux-M lens is priced at EUR 7,900. Both are now available at Leica stores, online, and through specialist retailers.
This release demonstrates Leica’s commitment to combining historical design elements with contemporary photographic technology, appealing to both collectors and professional photographers.
