Kendrick Lamar’s GNX Dominates Spotify’s 2025 Rap Streams

Spotify’s 2025 streaming data shows the top rap albums so far this year. The list includes both new releases and classic albums that still get millions of plays. Leading the pack is Kendrick Lamar’s GNX, with 2.4 billion streams. Following is MUSIC, by Playboi Carti, at 1.6 billion streams.

Tyler, The Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA and Doechii’s Alligator Bites Never Heal are tied for third place, each with 1.2 billion streams. Kendrick Lamar’s 2017 album DAMN. comes in fifth with 1 billion streams. Other recent hits include Don Toliver’s HARDSTONE PSYCHO (646 million streams) and Future & Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You (550 million).

Classic albums such as Kanye West’s Graduation (868 million), Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD (803 million), and Drake’s Take Care (637 million) also remain popular. Eminem’s The Eminem Show (758 million) and 50 Cent’s Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ (628 million) continue to have strong streaming numbers.

The full top 24 rap albums streamed on Spotify in 2025, from January 1 to July 31, are:
