Kanye West is speaking out about his and wife Bianca Censori’s shocking appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards red carpet.

When approached by photographers on February 4, 2025, West confidently said, “Ask me how it was to beat the Grammys. We beat the Grammys.”

The couple’s appearance at the event turned heads when Censori removed her black fur coat to reveal a completely sheer dress, leaving her almost naked. West, dressed in a simple black T-shirt and slacks, kept his look minimal as he accompanied her.

Initially, rumors circulated that the couple had been kicked out of the event due to the controversial wardrobe choice. However, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that they had left the event of their own volition.

The insider emphasized that West is a “master of publicity stunts” and knew exactly what he was doing. According to the source, West’s intention was to grab attention, make a statement, and then head to his after-party.

While West’s song “Carnival” from Vultures 1 was nominated for Best Rap Song, he lost the category to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

Grammys executive producer Raj Kapoor clarified that West and Censori were not offered seats for the event, as West wasn’t performing, presenting, or nominated in the main televised categories.

After the event, the couple enjoyed themselves at a Grammys after-party, where Censori changed into a daring mesh bodysuit, and the two were spotted packing on the PDA.
