Kanye also mentioned that he had recently spoken to Diddy, who is also in prison. The music mogul was arrested in September on charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering. His trial is scheduled for May. Kanye has publicly supported Diddy in recent weeks, so their continued contact is no surprise.
Despite their conversation, Kanye and Lil Durk have had past issues. Last year, Kanye revealed that Durk had submitted a verse for a song where he insulted Yeezy clothing.
Kanye admitted that the verse hurt him and questioned Durk about it. However, their recent call suggests that they may be on better terms now.
